一、考点梳理
完形填空是小升初英语考试中难度较高且必考的题型,分值为 10 分。该题型融合阅读理解、语法、词法与句法,着重考查学生的语言综合运用能力。近年来,完形填空的材料内容愈发贴近生活场景,语言更具交际性,词汇运用也更灵活,愈发强调上下文之间的联系,全方位检测学生的阅读理解能力、词汇运用能力、语法分析能力以及推理判断能力。其主要考查内容可分为语法、逻辑关系和词汇三大类,具体常考形式如下表所示:

二、解题技巧
(一)第一步:浏览全文,读懂首句
以较快速度通读全文,梳理出文章中的人物(who)、时间(when)、地点(where)、事件(what)、原因(why)和方式(how),从而把握文章主旨。在此过程中,若遇到能 100% 确定答案的题目,可结合选项直接填写。
完形填空的第一句话通常是主题句,或能为下文提供关键信息,目的是帮助读者快速进入文章语境,因此务必认真研读这句话。
例:(模拟真题)Lisa planned to go to the library because she needed to borrow some books for her report. 从首句可知,文章主要内容是 Lisa 为了给报告找资料,计划去图书馆。
(二)第二步:综合考虑,逐项推敲
对于完形填空的每个空格,要选出正确答案,需从以下四个方面综合考量:
语境:先通过略读了解文章大意,再结合选项,分析其在句子中的语义关联,尤其要结合文章的上下句进行判断,进而选出最贴合语境的选项。
例:(模拟真题)I went to the zoo with my family last Sunday. We saw many animals there, and my favorite one was the ______. It has a long nose and big ears.
A. tiger B. elephant C. panda
Key: 根据下文 “It has a long nose and big ears”(它有长长的鼻子和大大的耳朵),可判断此处描述的是大象,故选 B。
语法:若通过语境推测无法确定答案,就需要依据所学语法知识进行推断,比如考虑人称代词的主格与宾格、动词时态、名词单复数等语法规则。
例:(模拟真题)Tom and his sister often ______ to the park on weekends. Last Saturday, they played frisbee there for two hours.

由前文 “often”(经常)可知,此处描述的是习惯性动作,应用一般现在时;又因主语 “Tom and his sister” 是复数,谓语动词需用原形,故选 A。
固定搭配:做题时要留意一些介词、动词、名词等的固定搭配,这是选出正确答案的重要依据。

(三)第三步:复读全文,检查连贯与否
完成所有空格的填写后,建议用一两分钟时间将文章从头到尾再通读一遍,把所选选项代入空格中,检验文章语义是否通顺、逻辑是否连贯。若发现个别空格的选项不符合文章整体含义,需重新分析并修正。

五、常考同义词组用法区分
(一)look, watch, see, read 的辨析
look:强调 “看” 的动作,是不及物动词,后面接宾语时需加介词 at,常用搭配 “look at...”(看……)。
watch:侧重于 “观看” 动态的事物或过程,如电视、比赛等,常用搭配 “watch TV”(看电视)、“watch a football match”(看足球比赛)。
see:强调 “看” 的结果,即 “看到”,是及物动词,后面可直接接宾语,常用搭配 “see sb. do sth.”(看到某人做某事,强调动作全过程)、“see sb. doing sth.”(看到某人正在做某事,强调动作正在进行)。
read:主要指 “阅读” 书籍、报纸、杂志等文字类材料,常用搭配 “read a book”(看书)、“read a newspaper”(看报纸)。

指代范围 数量要求 词性与用法
each 可指两个或两个以上的人或事物,强调个体 可作形容词和代词;作形容词时,后面接单数名词;作代词时,可单独使用,也可与 of 连用,谓语动词用单数
every 指三个或三个以上的人或事物,强调整体中的每个个体 只能作形容词,后面接单数名词,谓语动词用单数;不能单独使用,也不能与 of 连用
all 指三个或三个以上的人或事物,强调整体 可作形容词、代词和副词;作形容词时,后面接复数名词或不可数名词;作代词时,可单独使用,也可与 of 连用,谓语动词根据指代的名词单复数而定
[拓展] each 可用于 “each...other” 结构,表示 “互相”,如 “help each other”(互相帮助);every 可用于 “every + 基数词 + 复数名词” 结构,表示 “每……”,如 “every three days”(每三天)。
