Recently, a cultural heritage protection competition has been held successfully. A youth project has drawn public attention.
Mount Tai is regarded as “the first of the five mountains (五岳之首). In December 1987, it was officially listed as a natural and cultural heritage by the UNESCO(联合国教科文组织). It also lets people from other countries learn about China’s old culture and beautiful nature.
