Among all the books I’ve read, Journey to the West is my favourite. It is a famous Chinese classic novel written by Wu Cheng’en in the Ming Dynasty. The story is popular with students for its exciting adventures, funny characters, and meaningful lessons.
The story follows four main characters,Tang Sanzang, Sun Wukong, Zhu Bajieand Sha Wujing. The main idea of the story is that they travel from China to India to get sacred Buddhist scriptures. Along the way, they fight many monsters and face 81 dangerous trials. Finally, they succeed and become heroes.
From the story, I learnt that teamwork and perseverance are very important. We should work together to finish the hard journey. I would recommend this book to everyone, because it is not only fun to read but also teaches us good lessons about life.
