Listening
Hello, listeners. Today we’re talking about five children and it by E.Nesbit, a British writer. In this story, five children find a sand fairy near their house. The fairy gives the children one wish each day. But wait, the wish ends at sunset. For their first wish, the children ask to be very beautiful. At first, they’re happy with their new looks. But when they get home, their nurse doesn’t know who they are and doesn’t let them get into the house. But that’s not all. One day, they wish for wings and have a great time flying around, but they forget their wings will go away at sunset and cannot get down from a roof. Oops! The story teaches us to be careful what we wish for. Something may seem like a good idea at first, but can bring about big problems later.
