As a huge art fan, I knew exactly what I was looking forward to most about my trip to Paris: visiting the Musée d’Orsay. Housed(安置) in an old railway building, this world-famous art museum features some of the best-known paintings from the Impressionist movement of the 19th century.

1 Hope this letter finds you well. I just visited the Musée d’Orsay in Paris, where I saw many Impressionist masterpieces with my own eyes. I can’t wait to share all my experiences with you.
First of all, let me tell you about the Impressionists. They were attracted by everyday life and nature, using bright colors to capture moments of light in life.
On top of that, what impressed me most was the plain painting created by Vincent van Gogh. He used free brushworks and vivid green to describe the scenery of this plain. Nothing could have prepared me for the wonder I felt when I laid eyes on the real thing.
All in all, this was an extremely unforgettable experience. I truly hope we can explore this amazing museum together in the future!
