Present perfect continuous（现在完成进行时）
Look at the sentences and answer the questions.
1 Which of these statements is true about sentence (a)
(1) Wild animals started using these passages in the past.
(2) Wild animals used these passages only once.
(3) Wild animals still use these passages now.

been using these passages for years.

2 . What is the difference between the expressions in bold in
sentences (a) and (b)
They are different in form and meaning. For sentence (a) the form is “have been doing”, while for sentence (b) the form is “have done”. In meaning, the bold part in sentence (a) means the action is continuous from the past; while the bold part in sentence (b) means the action happened once in the past.
一. 现在完成进行时的含义
表示从过去某一时间开始，一直持续到现在的动作，动作可能仍在进行，或刚刚结束，强调：持续过程、反复、动作一直在做。
eg. They have been repairing the broken road.
他们一直在维修那条损坏的道路。
二. 现在完成进行时的时间状语
for + 时间段：for two hours, for a long time
since + 时间点/从句：since 8 o’clock, since I came here
all day / all morning / all week / these days
recently, lately
how long（提问持续多久）
三. 现在完成进行时的基本结构：
肯定：主语 +have/has been doing+ 其他
否定：主语 +haven’t/hasn’t been doing+ 其他
一般疑问句：主语 + Have/Has + 主语 + been doing…+ 其他
译：
He has been sleeping all morning.
She hasn’t been working lately.
— Have you been studying hard
— Yes, I have. / No, I haven’t.
四. 现在完成进行时的的用法：
1. 动作从过去持续到现在，仍在进行.
I have been learning English for ten years.
我学英语十年了（现在还在学）。
It has been raining since last night.
从昨晚一直下雨（现在还在下）。
2. 动作刚刚结束，但结果/状态明显（累、脏、忙）.
You are out of breath. Have you been running
你气喘吁吁，刚才一直在跑步吧？
I have been cleaning the room.
我刚一直在打扫房间（刚扫完）。
3. 动作反复、断断续续发生（强调频繁）
He has been calling me these days.
他这几天一直给我打电话（多次）。
4. 带感彩：抱怨、责备、赞叹.
You have been lying to me!
你一直都在骗我！
五.注意事项（易错点，考试常坑）
1. 没有被动语态
想表达被动，改用现在完成时被动：
The bridge has been built.
The bridge has been being built.
2. 状态动词（静态动词）不用进行时
这类词只用于现在完成时，不用于完成进行时：
know, like, love, hate, have(有), belong, believe, understand, want, need
I have known him for years.
I have been knowing him.
3. 只强调过程，不强调完成与否。
1. 现在完成进行时与现在完成时的区别：
六：区别
(1) 在不用时间状语的情况下，have been doing的动作不一定已经完成（即强调延续），而have done一般表示动作已经完成（即强调结果）。
例句分析：
③ He has been writing a novel, which will be finished next month.
他在写一本小说，下个月能写完。
④ He has written a novel, which is being prepared to come out now.
他写了一本小说，正准备出版。
(2) have been doing往往表示动作在重复，而have done一般不表示动作的重复
例句分析：
⑤ I have been visiting my hometown recently, and it impresses me
differently each time.
最近我总回老家，每次感觉都不一样。
⑥ I have visited my hometown recently, whose changes have left a
deep impression on me.
最近我回了趟老家，那里巨大的变化让我惊讶。
七：巩固练习
