waited for“等待”、gave up“放弃”、communicated with“与……
由前文“prepare for the cold winter”及后文“come and enjoy the sunshine”可知,蚱蜢认为冬天还很遥远,应用Winter“冬天”。
make a big difference为固定短语,意为“产生巨大影响”,应用difference。

根据后文“because he doesn’t have a pet rabbit at home”以及兔子对他说话的情节可知,他看到的是一只rabbit“兔子”。
前文兔子说“Come on...Don’t you want to go for an adventure ”,这是语言交流,所以Jack惊讶于兔子会talk“说话”。
后文提到“Then the rabbit goes out of Jack’s room. Jack goes with it”,说明兔子让Jack跟随它,Follow“跟随”符合语境。
后文“doesn’t see the zoo”直接点明地点是zoo“动物园”,符合语境。
后文提到“Jack agrees and starts dancing with the rabbit”,说明兔子邀请他跳舞,dance to the music“随着音乐跳舞”是固定搭配,符合语境。talk about“谈论”、hold on“坚持/等一下”、play with“和……

what“什么”、when“何时”、where“何地”无法解释行为动机。

根据第一段内容“He was so excited that he decided to make a belt with the words, ‘Seven at one blow!’”
37. 根据第二段第二句“The giant saw the tailor and laughed at his small size.”
