Then, they walk to the cow barn (畜棚). Mrs Li is milking cows. “Milk is important for making food like cheese,” she says. Sarah’s mum asks, “How can we help ” Mrs Li says, “You can help to cook lunch.”
At lunch, the family enjoys fresh vegetables and eggs from the farm. Sarah uses chopsticks to eat noodles. Her dad uses a knife and fork for the chicken. After lunch, they help clear the table. Before leaving, Mr Li gives them a bag of tomatoes. “Don’t waste food,” he says. “Every vegetable takes time to grow.”
