Time passes. Wendy cooks for the boys. She is very busy, but she likes being their mother. She doesn’t worry about her mother and father, but she worries about John and Michael. They are starting to forget their old life. Perhaps this is because there are so many exciting adventures in Neverland. One night, for example, the Indians attack their house under the ground. Some of the Indians go into the holes in the trees and can’t get out again. The other Indians have to pull them out, like corks from bottles.
Another day Peter saves Tiger Lily, an Indian princess, from Captain Hook. The Indians become Peter’s friends after that. They guard the entrances to the house under the ground and protect the Lost Boys from the pirates.
Then another day the pirates try to kill the boys with a poisoned (有毒的) cake. Luckily Wendy takes it from them in time. But then the “Night of Nights” arrives. The children don’t know it, but this is the last evening on Neverland. In the house under the ground. Wendy puts John and Michael and the Lost Boys to bed. She starts to tell them their favorite story. Usually Peter puts his hands over his ears because he doesn’t like this story, but tonight he sits and listens with others. “In this story there is a man” says Wendy, “and his name is Mr. Darling. Over 30 percent of all food produced goes to waste, according to The United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization(联合国粮农组织). Supermarkets and families throw away food that they can’t finish selling or eating. To stop this, here are some ideas. Take a look for yourself.
Food bank
The world’s first food bank was in the US in 1967. People and stores can give food to the bank if they have more. People in need could then go to the food bank and take the food home if they could not buy any for themselves. In Shanghai, there is a “shared fridge” in some places. It stores(储存)food that is donated by nearby markets and restaurants. It is free for anyone to take.
Pay as you like
A UK company called The Real Junk Food Project says that food that has passed its sell-by date(保质期)is still safe to eat. They collect this food from supermarkets and sell it in cafes. You only have to pay as much as you like. If you don’t want to spend money, you can also work at the cafes. There are now 125 Real Junk Food cafes worldwide

“OK,” he said. “Please give the money back to me.”
“But I spent all the money!”
“Then give me the donkey,” Kenny said.
The farmer wondered, “Why do you want the dead donkey!”
“I can use it as a prize in a draw lot (抽奖).”
The farmer shouted, “No one wants a dead donkey! You are crazy.”
Kenny answered, “Don’t worry! I won’t tell them the donkey is dead.”
A few months later, the farmer met Kenny. “How about the dead donkey ” he asked.
Kenny said, “Well, I held a lucky draw lot, and I told them the prize was a donkey. I sold 500 tickets, 2 dollars each. So I got 998 dollars.”
The farmer was very much surprised. “Why didn’t anyone say ‘No’ ”

My Dream Home
I have a dream home which is at the foot of a mountain. There are many green trees and beautiful flowers around it. It is about 20 kilometres away from the city centre, so people can get there by bus easily.
My dream home is very large. There are three bedrooms, a big living room and a balcony. I can read books and listen to music in my bedroom. I can also chat with my family in the living room. My neighbours are all kind and friendly. For example, the old man next door often helps me with my math. We get on well with each other.
I love my dream home very much.
