Rules keep us safe. When we cross the road, we must listen to the crossing guards and follow the traffic lights. In this way, we can keep away from traffic accidents. Also, rules keep things in order. For example, we shouldn’t eat, drink or make any noise in the library. In a nice environment, people can study or work better. What’s more, rules can bring us more fun. When we play games, we should follow the rules. A game is fun when it is fair.

Asking Questions

On a Sunday afternoon, I was doing my homework at home. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. I went to the door and locked through the peephole.I saw a stranger. I remembered our family rule — don’t open the door for strangers. I decided not to answer the door and went back to do my homework.
A few minutes later, my mother called. She told me it was the delivery man and she was happy about it because I followed the family rule.
