I've always loved books. When I was a child, I would bring them everywhere. I became a reader before digital audiobooks (电子有声书) were 21 . At that time, audiobooks were only for long car rides, and hours cleaning my room while I listened to the American Girl book series on CD.
Now, with smartphones, audiobooks are so popular. Some say audiobooks aren't real books 22 listening isn't reading.
Of course, reading a book and listening to an audiobook are 23 . They use different areas of the brain and have different pros and cons (利弊). One of my biggest 24 is losing focus during an audiobook and realizing I have no idea where I stopped paying 25 . I'm also still a print book purist (纯粹主义者) – I 26 ebooks, and I only use them when it's hard to get a print book. But I have grown to love audiobooks for their 27 , like having voice actors do different voices, or putting music to songs in the text.
Saying audiobooks don't count as reading is 28 and stops people from reading. If someone struggles with print books but loves 29 , they'll read more by listening. Criticizing (批评) them for preferring audiobooks might 30 them from enjoying stories altogether. To build a world of readers, we must support all forms of reading, 31 the ones we like.
Sometimes I 32 an audiobook. It's the only way to read if I'm on a long drive or if I want to do many things together. Other times, I love the feel of a book in my 33 and turning pages.
Enjoy books in whatever way works for you. Buy them from a bookstore, 34 them from the library, or download them – it really doesn't 35 . After all, don't we have better things to do than question how others take in information

Some time ago, an old businessman had a large store in Boston. He wanted a boy to work for him, and he put an advertisement (广告) in the newspaper. The next morning, many boys came to the old man’s office, asking for the job.
There was a post (柱子) by his desk, and there was a nail (钉子) in it. He took a walking stick and said, “Everyone has three chances. If anyone can hit the nail on the head with this stick more than once, I will give him the job.” The boys thought it was easy. They all tried. But nobody could make it. So the old man said, “I’m sorry I can’t take any of you.” And they left.
He kept the advertisement in the newspaper, and the next morning many more boys came, and among them he saw a thin boy who had been there the day before. The boy hit the nail successfully for three times. The old man felt surprised and asked how he did that. “Yes,” said the boy, “I failed yesterday, but I thought that if I kept on trying a while, I could do it. So I went home and practiced hitting a nail with a stick till I could do it, and I got up very early this morning, and tried again.”

Chinese chess, also known as xiangqi, is a traditional board game. It is a two-player game played on a board. It is believed that xiangqi first appeared in the Warring States Period (战国时期). It was developed rapidly during the Song Dynasty. And lots of people played xiangqi during the Ming Dynasty.
Chinese chess is played with “red” and “black” pieces. The two players take turns, and the player holding the red pieces goes first. Both players take turns to make one move each time until the winner is decided.
