The next day I looked for a pen and some paper among my things. I made two lists: one of all the bad things about my situation, and the other of all the good things.

I am alone. There is nobody here to talk to or to help me. I have no warm clothes. I don’t have much protection against wild animals I survive the terrible storm. I am alive.
