My Most Admired Chinese Astronaut
Among all the Chinese astronauts, I admire Wang Yaping most. She was selected into China’s space program and has carried out several space missions. She was honored with the title “Heroic Astronaut”, and even an asteroid was named after her.
When she was a child, she dreamed of flying and was determined to make her dream come true. Her space lessons have inspired millions of students to fall in love with science. Wang Yaping is also the first Chinese woman astronaut to stay in space for more than 180 days.
I admire her because she never gave up on her dream. Her courage and hard work show us that nothing is impossible if we truly believe in ourselves.
