That's Batai Mountain, an amazing place in Dazhou, Sichuan.
The name “Batai” means “eight steps” because it looks like it has eight huge flat steps going up. It's very tall (over 2,200 metres). Because of its height, it's one of the best places to see the sunrise each morning in Sichuan. Watching the sun come up from the top is amazing.

　　There are more than a hundred pyramids in Egypt. The oldest of these are in Saqqara, but the three pyramids in Giza just outside Cairo are more famous. About 1,000,000 stones are needed to build a pyramid and most of the stones weigh about 2,500 kilograms. Some are even heavier and can weigh up to 16,000 kilograms! Nobody knows how people managed to move these stones without the use of machine.
The Great Pyramid of Giza is the biggest and oldest of the three pyramids. It was built for Pharaoh (法老) Khufu more than 4,500 years ago, and his body is put inside one of the rooms after his death. It is one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, and it is the only one that remains. All the others were destroyed mostly by earthquakes.
The Pyramid of Menkaure is not as big as the Great Pyramid of Giza, but it is still huge. It was built for Khufu's son, Khafre.
The Pyramid of Menkaure is the smallest and it is only a tenth of the size of Pyramid of Khafre. Even though there is a difference in size, expensive stones were used to make the Pyramid of Menkaure. It's believed that this is because Pharaoh Menkaure liked the quality (质量) over size.
All three pyramids are protected by the government now, but you can still visit them. I think the best way to experience the pyramids is to ride a camel around them, with a tour guide to tell you about the pyramids and their history.

For my next trip, I went backpacking in Australia. In the day, I went hiking, and each night I slept in my tent. Carrying a backpack and a tent all day made me exhausted. But the mountains and beaches were so beautiful that I didn't think about my heavy backpack.
