People get infected(感染) mostly because they breathe in air that has the virus. This can happen when cleaning old houses, stores, or other places where mice have lived. There is no special medicine to treat Hantavirus. But early medical help can save lives. The best way to stay safe is to keep mice away. Close all holes in your home. Keep food in closed boxes. When cleaning mouse waste, wear a mask and gloves. First use disinfectant(消毒剂), then clean it up. Do not sweep dry waste, because that sends virus into the air.

The large plane moved slowly on the airport ground. Its four engines made a very loud noise and blew out hot air. The ground even shook a little.
But right next to the plane, a young Chinese soldier stood quietly. He was only a few meters away from the plane. The noise was quite loud, and the wind was very strong. However, the soldier did not move at all. He did not blink(眨眼) his eyes or step back. He stood as straight as a tree.

live.
Why should we protect migratory birds
They travel a long distance between spring and fall. Along the way, they face many dangers like bad weather, loss of resting places, hunting and pollution. These birds help us by eating insects and spreading seeds. If we don’t protect them, fewer birds will return each year. That would be bad for the balance of nature.
Liu Ying, from Datong I went to a park with my binoculars(望远镜). Then I watched birds and recorded their colors, sizes, and what they were doing. Later, I shared my notes with a bird group in my city. Ma Weiming, from Linfen I joined a clean-up event at a local lake. I picked up plastic bags and bottles. Birds might eat these things and get hurt. By cleaning up, I helped make the lake safe for these birds to rest and find food.
Hu Haitao, from Jincheng I used the eBird app on my phone. I recorded every bird I saw in the neighborhood. I counted how many there were and where they were. Then I shared my records on eBird. Niu Peng, from Yangquan I built a simple birdhouse at home. I used wood and dry grass. I hung the birdhouse in my backyard. It could give birds a safe, dry place to rest during their long journeys.

Dear friends,
I’m glad to stand here and give you a speech. Today my topic is “The light in my heart”.
Last term, I failed my mid-term math exam. I felt so sad and lost that I didn’t want to talk to anyone. I thought I was not smart enough.
Then one day, my best friend came to me. He said, “Don’t give up. I will help you.” Those simple words were like a light in the dark. After school, he stayed and spent time explaining difficult problems to me patiently over and over again. With his help, my grades slowly improved. More importantly, I learned that asking for help is not a shame.
That light from my friend has stayed in my heart. Now, whenever I see a classmate feeling down. I will go to them and say, “Don’t worry. I am here for you.” I want to pass on this light because a small act of kindness can make a big difference.
Thank you for your listening!
