Homework
Homework
Write a story to talk about “ Moral dilemma”.
I’m Clara Bennett, a nurse at Brineport Hospital. Recently, I faced a painful moral dilemma: an elderly patient dying of pneumonia begged to know if his long-lost daughter had contacted him. Though I received her apology letter, the doctor warned stress could kill him instantly. I chose to hide the letter to protect his life, but he died without knowing, and his daughter grieved deeply.
I’m torn between following medical advice and honoring the patient’s emotional needs. I wonder if there’s a better way to balance these two. I’d appreciate your guidance on handling similar dilemmas in the future.
