Read the safety tips for Sports Day. Underline the imperative sentences.
1. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes that fit you well to avoid falls and another accidents.
2. Be sure to have breakfast on Sports Day, but you shouldn't eat too much. It is bad to exercise on an empty stomach or when you are too full. A good breakfast will give you enough energy to get through the competitions.
3. Remember to warm up before your event begins. For example, you can jog for a few minutes or do other light activities. In this way, you are less likely to get hurt.
4. Do what is within your ability. If you don't feel well, ask your teachers for help.

Swimming is a great way to have fun and stay cool, but safety must come first. Here are some important tips to help you swim safely.
1. Always choose a safe place to swim.
You should only swim in areas with a lifeguard on duty, like a public swimming pool. It is very dangerous to swim in rivers, lakes, or ponds alone,.
2. Remember to wear proper safety equipment.
Wear a life jacket if you are not a confident swimmer or are in open water. Also, don’t forget to use swimming goggles to protect your eyes and a swim cap to keep your hair tidy. Proper equipment helps you focus on swimming and avoid accidents.
3. Prepare your body before entering the water.
Always remember to warm up and do some light stretching for 5-10 minutes. You shouldn’t swim right after a big meal or when you are very tired. 4. Follow the rules and swim with a partner.
4. Don’t run near the pool, and never dive into shallow or unknown water.
It is a good idea to swim with a friend or where other people can see you.
By following these simple rules, you can enjoy swimming and make sure everyone has a safe and happy time in the water!
