Why should we
read great books
U7, 8B

BIG
Question
Because we read great books to learn more, grow our minds and become wiser.
There are many good reasons. First, great books have taught us lots of useful knowledge and help us see the world in new ways. Second, they have improved our reading and writing skills a lot. Third, we have learned many great qualities, such as courage and patience, from these wonderful works.
Reading great books makes us smarter and more thoughtful. It is really a great habit for every student.
We should read gret books. They have given us much new knowledge and good life lessons. They also make our language better and open our minds. Reading good books helps us grow into better people, so we should keep reading every day.

Have you ever read The Little Prince It's my favourite book by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry. In ths story, the main character is a young prince who leaves his small planet to travel the universe. He meets different strange people on other planets, and finally comes to Earth. Through his journey, he learns about love, friendship and what is really important in life. I think it's a warm and meaningful story for both children and adults.
Have you ever read Journey to the West It's my favourite book by Wu Cheng'en. In this story, the main character is the Monkey King, Sun Wukong. He is brave, clever and very powerful. He travels with his master and two other friends to dangerous places to get sacred books. They face many difficulties and battle monsters on the way, but they never give up.
This book teaches me to be strong and keep going when I meet trouble. It is really a great classic book.
Have you ever read Romance of the Three Kingdoms It's my favourite book by Luo Guanzhong.
In this story, the main character I like best is Zhuge Liang. He is very smart and always has a good plan. The book tells the story of three kingdoms fighting and working with each other long ago. From this book, I have learned many Chinese old sayings and learned how to be wise and kind to others. I highly recommend this book to everyone.
