一、语篇研读：
【What】本课有1个对话语篇，展示的是主人公Teng Fei和Peter为给双胞胎姐妹Emma和Ella准备生日惊喜派对，到商店购物的情境。对话在Teng Fei、Peter与售货员之间展开，体现了真实自然的购物场景和完整丰富的交际语言，为学生使用英语进行日常购物提供了示范。
【Why】本课时以听读说任务为手段，在上一节听说课的基础上，通过创设商店购物这一语境。通过语篇学习，学生可以更好地了解购物的基本流程和常用表达方式，并将其应用于实际生活中。同时，语篇学习还可以帮助学生培养良好的消费观念和购物礼仪，提高他们的社交能力和人际交往能力。
【How】对话呈现了购物时一些常用的表达。例如，售货员招呼顾客的用语“Can I help you ”和顾客的应答“Yes, please.”；售货员向顾客推销的表达“We have a sale today... It comes with some candles.”；售货员询问顾客购买物品数量的问句“How many/ much... do you want ”；顾客询问价格的问句“How much... ”；顾客付款时的表达“Here you are.”；购物结束时售货员与顾客的告别用语“Thank you! Have a nice day!”“Thanks. You too.”等。此外，还呈现了物品的价格表达，如six yuan a kilo, five yuan a bottle等。
二、学情分析：
已经学习了与生日相关的部分基础词汇和表达，如birthday party, birthday cake, candle等；对与购物相关的词汇有一定基础并较感兴趣，如buy sth. for sb., how much等；掌握部分基数词与序数词。渴望学习更多关于商场购物的表达方式；想知道如何更礼貌、地道地与店员交流；希望了解不同国家的商场购物文化和习俗差异
三、学习目标：
1.Through prediction、listening and summarizing, be able to master the English expressions about shopping.
2.By imitation and role play, be able to ask and answer about numbers and prices politely in given situations.
Make good use of what we learned in this lesson and create a new conversation in groups to shop for the coming party.
四、教学过程：
Step 1 Lead in
Free talk:

【设计意图】利用图片、视频资源导入生日话题，激发学生参与英语学习的兴趣，引导学生复习上节课所学，激活学生已知，渗透目标语言让学生进行初步的感知
Step 2 Pre-listening
1.Say the things we always prepare for the party.
2.Sort the things into four parts: food, drinks, decorations and gifts.
3.Prediction:
Where are they
Why do they go there
Who is the woman
What might they buy
【设计意图】利用问题引导学生认真观察语篇插图，了解对话人物和情境，激发学生的参与兴趣，激活学生相关夕会。通过预测任务引发学生思考，培养学生利用情境线索进行推断预测的能。
Step 3 Listen and complete the table
1.Listen to the conversation and tick the things they buy.
2.Listen again and find the prices and numbers of the things.
3.Check the answers.

6.Pair work: Work in pairs and talk about the things you want to buy.
【设计意图】通过完成表格的阅读任务的设置，引导学生反复阅读对话文本，获取关于购物的细节信息，将词汇教学渗透于语境之中，帮助学生梳理内容、夯实知识。
Step 4 Listen and find the tips
1.Listen and fill in the blanks in the conversation.
2.Listen again and pay attention to the intonation.
3.Role play the conversation with the proper intonation.
【设计意图】指导学生关注语音语调中的句子升降调现象，通过角色扮演听力对话的内容，引导学生在归纳和整理核心语言的基础上，内化关键句型与重点语言，为进一步在现实生活情境中运用所学做好铺垫。

Step 6 Group work
Let’s prepare a New Year’s party. Work in groups of 4. Finish the 2 tasks. First, make your own shopping list. Second., make your own conversation for shopping.
【设计意图】引导学生进行超越语篇、联系实际生活的活动，用所学语言做事情，根据新情境整合运用相关的语言表达，在组内进行购物场景的角色扮演并做班级展示，完成交际任务，学以致用，培养学生在真实情境中运用语言和文化知识解决实际问题的能力，推动迁移创新。
Step 7 Home work
Must do: 1. Polish your conversation according to the checklist and practice with your group members;
2. Design a shopping list for your own family party.
Try to do: Plan a party for one of your friends or family.
