三、教学重难点
(一)教学重点
1.掌握志愿服务相关主题词汇、现在完成时交际句型,能听懂访谈对话并提取关键信息。
2.能开展志愿服务话题的角色扮演与口语交流。
(二)教学难点
1.在角色扮演与口语讨论中,连贯、得体地描述志愿服务经历。
2.结合对话内容,清晰阐述对志愿服务的理解与看法,有理有据地传递公益精神与个人观点。
四、教学方法
1.情境教学法:创设“社区志愿服务”“动物救助站”真实情境,结合图片与听力对话展开教学。
2.任务型教学法:设计“图片匹配→听力填表→句子填空→角色扮演→话题讨论”阶梯任务。
3.合作学习法:通过小组讨论、结对练习等形式,鼓励学生互助合作,共同完成学习任务,提升交流能力。
4.讲授法:针对核心词汇、听力高频短语进行精准讲解。
五、教学准备
1.多媒体课件:名著封面、小说类型图片、听力音频、对话原文、表格笔记、句型支架、示范例文。
2.学习任务单:1a匹配题、1b表格、1c填空、2b排序、2c的summary、对话练习。

(一)新课整体概述
1.展示单元封面页,呈现本单元核心学习目标,用简洁易懂的语言辅助解释,让学生清晰知晓本单元的学习任务。

2.抛出单元大问题:展示单元核心大问题“Why should we help others ”(我们为什么要帮助他人?),引导学生思考帮助他人的意义,进入本单元话题。
(二)导入本节课内容
1.图片导入:展示人们捡拾垃圾的图片,提问:
What are the people in the photo doing
They are picking up plastic bottles.
Do you think their actions are helpful How so
Yes, I do. Their actions can help protect the environment.
What are some ways you can help others
I can give directions or donate money to help others.
2.引出志愿者的含义,让学生谈论自己做志愿的经历,邀请2-3名学生进行课堂分享。
A volunteer is someone who helps others for free, without getting money.
3.词汇预热:呈现本课核心词汇:volunteer, clean up, guide visitors, visit the elderly, give directions, plant trees, sort waste,教师领读并结合图片帮助理解词义。

(三)新课讲授与听力训练
1. Pre-listening:(1)完成1a任务:让学生将活动与图片匹配,核对答案并强化词汇记忆。

2. While-listening:
第一遍听(1b):让学生听三段采访,完成表格填写志愿者所在组织与服务时长,核对答案。

3. Post-listening:(1)听听力对话并跟读,让学生熟悉语音语调。
(2)对话练习(1d)
①示范对话:教师与学生结对,用句型“A: How long have you been a volunteer B: I’ve been a volunteer for ... A: What do you do there B: Oh, many things! ...”进行示范,如:“A: How long have you been a volunteer B: I’ve been a volunteer for one year. A: What do you do there B: Oh, many things! I clean up the city park, pick up bottles and sort waste once a week. I also plant trees in spring to beautify the park.”
②结对练习:学生两人一组,运用所学词汇和句型,模仿采访进行对话,教师巡视指导,纠正语言错误。
③展示分享:邀请2-3组学生进行对话展示,教师给予点评和鼓励。

1. Pre-listening:(1)完成2a任务:让学生勾选在动物救助站想做的三项活动,如feed animals, clean cages, walk dogs等。

Conversation 1
Robert’s friend Rose has been a volunteer at an animal shelter for two years. She tells him about her volunteer work there. She says she cleans the cages and feeds the animals. She also looks after the new dogs and collects donations for the shelter.
Conversation 2
Robert wants to become a volunteer too, so he goes to the animal shelter and has an interview with a person working there. Robert tells the interviewer that he used to have a dog. His pet taught him that every animal is special and needs love. Robert offers to volunteer once a week.
3. Post-listening:(1)听听力对话并跟读,让学生熟悉语音语调,模仿情感与语气。
(2)角色扮演:分角色演绎Conversation 1与Conversation 2,注意语气自然。

辨析provide与offer

pick up ① 捡起;拾起 ② 接(某人) ③ 接电话
注意:pick up 为“动词+副词”型结构,当名词作宾语时,可放在pick和up之间,也可放在up之后;人称代词作宾语时,要放在pick和up之间。
4. I think it’s everyone’s duty to look after it! 我认为爱护它是每个人的责任!
It’s+名词 +to do sth.(做某事是……),其中it是形式主语,真正的主语是后面的动词不定式。

4.公益与爱心主题渗透自然,学生共情与责任感明显提升,可进一步拓展真实校园志愿活动。
