Last summer, I went to visit the Grand Canyon with my parents. It was one of the most amazing experiences in my life. When we first arrived at the park, I was shocked by how huge it was. The sky was blue and the sun was shining brightly. We walked along the path and looked down at the deep valley below.
At first, I was excited and took lots of photos. But as we walked further, the wind started to blow strongly and the sky turned grey. My dad told us that a storm might be coming. We decided to go back to our car quickly. On the way, the rain started to fall heavily. We had to run to a nearby shelter and wait.
The storm lasted for about an hour. When it stopped, the sky cleared up and we saw a beautiful rainbow over the canyon. The mountains looked even more wonderful with the fresh air. I felt so lucky to see such an amazing sight after the storm.
