①I looked at the row of bottles full of my parents’ handmade tomato sauce (酱). I have been saving them like the valuable treasures. Though I try to find something like them, nothing can take the place of the bottles. Shall I buy one in stores or could I make another one by myself But it doesn’t taste like home. It will never taste the same.
②Making tomato sauce was a tradition in my family. My parents would collect the tomatoes each September. When the tomatoes were ready, we would take them to the factory to have them cleaned and boiled. Once cooked, whole tomatoes were put into a homemade machine so that the sauce was separated from the skins. After that, bottles at the ready, we filled them with sauce. The bottles would be hot for a few days, closing themselves and keeping their own heat. Then they would be ready to use anytime.
③However, my father got ill in 2019 when the tradition was hard to pass on. It took my parents a lot of time in hospital. But in September that year, they wanted to continue the tradition. Never will I forget the beautiful memories of that day. Sadly, my father passed away soon after.
④I can’t keep these bottles forever. For a girl who grew up with her parents’ love in every jar, it’s a silent goodbye. But it doesn’t make it any easier. Every time I go to reach for one, something stops me. What will it feel like to use that last bottle It would mean the end of an era. Who knows Maybe it’s time to bring new traditions to life.

Does your dog get nervous when you leave Have you ever felt sorry seeing them alone at home If you do, here’s some good news—something as simple as touching your dog before you go may help them feel more relaxed!
A recent study explored whether soft touching before a short separation could make dogs feel calmer while waiting for their owners to return. And the results We already know that physical contact, like touching, can reduce stress in dogs. But this study took it a step further—researchers tested whether a loving touch could make a difference in how dogs deal with short separations.
Ten dogs took part in two situations: once they were touched for a minute before their owner left, and once they were not. Researchers watched their behavior, stress signals (信号), and even checked their salivary cortisol—a stress hormone (荷尔蒙) to see how they reacted.
The findings were encouraging: Dogs who received touching before separation showed more calm behavior while waiting for their owners. Their heart rates lowered much more after the test, suggesting they were more ______. Even though all dogs looked for their owners during separation, their stress levels remained really low in both situations.
This small yet meaningful study suggests that a little love before leaving can make a big difference in a dog’s experience of separation. And this study is also a great reminder that even the simplest touching can have a big influence on our lovely friends.

B. Dogs’ heart rates go up after being touched.
C. Touching is worse than other ways to calm dogs.
D. Gentle touching before leaving keeps dogs calmer.
25. Which of the following words can be the best for _______
A. relaxed B. excited C. nervous D. upset
26. What is the main purpose of the passage
A. To teach owners how to train their dogs.
B. To show how to reduce dogs’ separation stress.
C. To explain why dogs feel lonely without owners.
D. To encourage people to keep more pets.

①In early 2026, an AI tool named OpenClaw quickly became popular across China. It has a special logo that looks like a lobster (龙虾), so people warmly call it “AI Lobster”. Unlike common AI chatbots that only talk with people, OpenClaw can control users’ computers to finish different kinds of difficult tasks. It can write reports, manage emails and even write simple code, and many people describe using it as “raising the lobster”.
②The tool soon became very welcome and surprised many big technology companies. However, it is not easy for common people to set it up correctly, so some people make money by helping others install the tool. What’s more, the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology has given a clear safety warning. It reminds the public that wrong use of OpenClaw may bring dangerous risks, such as personal information leaks (泄露).
③To deal with these problems, NVIDIA is planning to create a safer AI platform called NemoClaw for business use. Besides, AI has also brought great changes to cultural creation. A short drama Huo Qubing made by AI won hundreds of millions of views with very little cost, showing that AI makes cultural production easier for common people.
④All these examples show that AI is used in our life and work broadly. It makes our life more confident and brings new chances, but we must also pay attention to data safety and follow proper rules. The rise of “AI Lobster” is not only a popular trend (趋势) but also a sign of a smarter future, and we should explore and use AI wisely and responsibly.
27. Why do people call OpenClaw “AI Lobster”
A. Because it can help people catch lobsters. B. Because its logo looks like a lobster.
C. Because it was invented by a lobster expert. D. Because it becomes popular on the Internet.
28. What makes OpenClaw different from common AI chatbots
A. It can talk with people freely. B. It is cheaper and easier to get.
C. It can control users’ computers to do tasks. D. It can help students with only homework.
29. What does the writer suggest people do about AI like OpenClaw
A. Stop using it because of safety risks. B. Use it wisely and pay attention to data safety.
C. Wait for big companies to create better tools. D. Learn to install it by themselves to save money.
30. Why does the writer write this passage
A. To tell us how to use AI wisely and safely. B. To show how to use OpenClaw in a right way.
C. To encourage people to make more AI tools. D. To introduce the development of AI technology.
