Unit 6 Beautiful landscapes
Learning objectives
In this class, you will be able to
identify and use different indefinite pronouns correctly in sentences;
complete sentences with the appropriate indefinite pronouns based on given pictures and contexts;
find a picture of a landscape with people in it and use indefinite pronouns to talk about the people and things in the picture ;
recognize and understand how “what” and “how” are used in sentences to express strong feelings;
complete a conversation using “what” and “how” to express your feelings about the Songhua River;
find a picture of a landscape without people in it and use “what” and “how” sentences to talk about your feelings.
Look at this picture. There seems to be somebody on the mountain, but we can’t see clearly who he or she is.

some-一般用于肯定句；也可以表示希望得到肯定回答的疑问句中。表示“某人、物”
any-一般用于否定句、疑问句或条件句中，表示“某人、物”；也可以用于肯定句中，表示“任何人、物”。
every-类表示“所有人、物”

We use indefinite pronouns to refer to people and things when we do not know or do not need to mention who or what we are talking
about.We use pronouns ending in -body or -one for people
and pronouns ending in-thing for things.
