To master key phrases and understand the stylistic features of characters' dialogues; sort out the beginning, development and ending of the whole story through fast reading and finish the summary filling exercise in the textbook.
Read the play in groups with proper tones and deliver lines fluently. State predictions of the story’s follow-up in 3 to 4 English sentences alone based on two textbook discussion questions.
Draw lessons about treating small animals kindly from Nils’ experience and share reading reflections. Reflect on personal daily behaviors toward weak creatures and build values of kindness and respect for all living things.
