Presentation 学习理解 Pre-reading:Ask the students to read the story to get the main idea and the main characters of the story by the title and the picture. Let several of them to show their work. 2.Show some questions and work in groups to discuss and share their ideas. T:What do you think will happen to Nils next How will Nils feel after being punished by the animals Do you think Nils will be able to turn back into a boy T:What can we learn from Nils’s story about how to treat animals 3.Ask the students to read the proverbs and choose the best match for the play. Then let them discuss whether the other proverbs match any stories you know. 1.Read the play and complete the summary. Then retell the story. 2.Discuss the questions in groups and then share ideas. Sa:Nils will run away quickly to escape(逃离) those angry animals. He may start a long trip to look for the elf. / ... Sb:He will feel scared and regretful.
