Once upon a time, a fisherman caught a bottle in his fishing net. When he opened it, a great cloud came out and became a genie!
"Prepare to die!" shouted the genie. "A long time ago, I made a promise. If someone set me free, I would make them rich and powerful. But no one ever came. After years and years of waiting, I became very angry. If anyone set me free, I would kill them instead of giving them anything. So, you must die!"

Development（发展）
The fisherman said, “Genie, I know you are angry, but killing me won’t make you truly happy. I can be your friend. I can bring you food and tell you stories every day.”
Climax（高潮）
The genie was surprised by the fisherman’s kindness. He thought about it for a moment. Then he said, “You are different from others. I won’t kill you. In fact, I will make you rich as I once promised.”
Ending（结尾）
The genie kept his word and filled the fisherman’s boat with gold and jewels. The fisherman returned to the village and shared his wealth with everyone.
Activity 7 Enjoy the composition
Development（发展）
The scared fisherman begged, “Genie, save me! My family needs me. If I die, they will go hungry.”
Climax（高潮）
The genie stopped for a moment, thinking of his own family from long ago. Moved by the fisherman’s words, he said, “I will save you, but you must promise to tell everyone that I am free.” The fisherman agreed and, as the genie disappeared, he rowed back to land.
Ending（结尾）
He was happy to be alive. He told his family and everyone in the village what happened. He learned that being kind and honest can make even very angry people show mercy(怜悯).
