第三部分 阅读(共两节,满分40分)
第一节 阅读理解(共15小题;每小题2分,满分30分)
阅读下列短文,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
A
Recently, some filmmakers started using AI to create actors. These AI actors look like real people, but they are completely made by computers. Some people support this, while others are strongly against it. Here are two different opinions.
Acting is more than just saying lines. It comes from real human emotions, experiences, and feelings. An AI actor cannot truly feel sad, happy, or angry. Besides, if we use AI actors, many real actors will lose their jobs. Actors put years of hard work into learning their skills. It would be unfair if an AI act took their place. Movies made with AI actors may look perfect, but they will lose the warmth and honesty that real human actors bring.
If the movie is good, does it really matter who—or what—acts in it AI actors can help filmmakers save time. They also help save money. Not every movie has a big budget (预算). Small teams can use AI actors to tell great stories. I think that's the most valuable part of AI actors. Also, AI actors never get tired, ask for more money, or argue with others. This doesn't mean real actors will disappear. AI is just another tool, like special effects. Technology has always helped movies improve. AI actors are just the next step.
56. Why is Sally against using AI actors
①AI actors don't look perfect. ②AI actors don't have human feelings.
③Many real actors will lose their jobs. ④AI actors cannot remember their lines.
A. ②③ B. ①③ C. ①④ D. ②④
57. What does Tom think is the most valuable part of AI actors
A. AI actors can help filmmakers save time. B. Small teams can use AI actors to tell great stories.
C. AI actors never get tired. D. AI actors never argue with others.
58. What is the main topic of the text
A. Why real actors are better than AI actors. B. How AI actors can help make movies.
C. How AI actors are made by computers. D. Whether AI actors should be used in movies.

I had saved money for months to buy an old guitar. It wasn’t expensive, but it was mine. When I walked into the club room with it, I felt proud. Then I saw the other students’ instruments—shiny, new, and clearly costly. I suddenly felt embarrassed.
During practice, I tried my best, but my guitar sounded terrible. Every few minutes, I had to stop and fix it. By the end of the practice, I wanted to hide my guitar and never come back.
As I was packing up, a boy named Sam walked over. I expected him to say something about my poor performance. Instead, he looked at my guitar carefully. “This is a cool guitar, Andy,” he said.
I laughed, “It’s just an old one.”
Sam didn’t laugh. “Can I see it for a second ” he asked.
I handed it to him. He smiled, “I can fix this. Do you want to come to my house this weekend ”
I was surprised. But I still said yes.
That Saturday, I went to Sam’s house. He showed me how to fix the guitar. He even taught me how to clean and care for the guitar properly. We spent the whole afternoon working on it together.
When we finished, I played a few notes. The sound was clear and bright. My guitar had never sounded so beautiful. I was so happy.

Ou Hailin is a reader from Beijing. He likes the Capital Library of China very much. The library started a new digital platform in September. Do you know “plogging” It is a new fitness activity that started in Sweden. The idea is simple: You carry a small rubbish bag, run at your normal speed, and collect any rubbish you see on the ground.
Erik, a Swedish man, first used the word “plogging”. He says he invented the activity because he was tired of seeing rubbish as he went out to exercise. Erik began to share photos of his rubbish-filled bags on social media. And within weeks people all over Sweden were copying him. So far, plogging has been known to the world, with organised events taking place in more than fifty countries.
What makes plogging attractive (吸引人的) is that it needs no special tools. A normal plastic shopping bag is enough. Besides, you can go plogging in the morning, at noon, after school or at any time of the day. Many schools in Europe now organise weekly “plogging afternoons”. Students there go plogging around the neighbourhood and weigh how much rubbish they have collected.
In China the idea is also catching on. Last spring, over two hundred students from Beijing took part in a five-kilometer plogging along the river. In just one hour they removed 120 kg of waste, including 1,300 cigarette butts and 600 plastic cups. “At first I thought it would be boring.” said 14-year-old Liu Jie. “but when I saw the clean street behind me. I felt proud and full of energy.”
Environmental scientists say that if every runner in Beijing goes plogging for only thirty minutes a week, the city can clear up more than fifteen tons of rubbish a year.
Plogging may not solve all environmental problems, but it is a small, practical step that anyone can take. So next time you put on your running shoes, why not take a bag with you
66. Why did Erik start plogging
A. He wanted to become famous on social media. B. He was tired of seeing rubbish when he exercised.
C. He wanted to start a new sport in Sweden. D. He hoped to make money by collecting rubbish.
67. What makes plogging attractive according to Paragraph 3
A. It requires no special training. B. It needs no special tools and can be done anytime.
C. It is a healthy sport. D. It helps runners run faster.
68. What can we infer (推断) from the text
A. Liu Jie is not interested in the plogging activity at first. B. Plogging has solved all environmental problems.
C. Only students can take part in plogging activities. D. Plogging is more popular in China than in Europe.
69. What does the underlined word “practical” mean in the text
A. Special. B. Important. C. Useful. D. Meaningless.

Have you ever seen a robot that looks like a human In China, there are cool human-like robots working in factories now. One of them is Lingshu, a 1.66-meter-tall robot. It can do very careful jobs, like putting thin semiconductors (半导体) on production lines. Even a tiny mistake could cause failure, but Lingshu does it well!
These robots are part of “embodied AI (具身人工智能)”—a new technology that lets robots work in the real world. China thinks this is very important for the future. The 2024 Government Work Report says China will spend more money on embodied AI, along with other new technologies.
Lingshu is made by Youibot. Old robots can usually do one job, but Lingshu can learn different tasks. It works in factories in Hefei, Suzhou and Chongqing. One robot can do as much work as 8 to 12 human workers. It can also work 24 hours a day!
Many companies are using this technology. It makes production 30% faster, cuts costs by 25% and reduces mistakes by 40%. At Nio’s car factory, the robots help move parts and build cars. UBTech’s robot Walker S2 is also working in factories, with over 100 million yuan in orders.
People are excited about smart robots. They even performed on the Spring Festival Gala (春晚). But there are still challenges. Robots need better control and longer battery (电池) life.
China is growing fast in embodied AI. These robots will help make our lives easier and our factories smarter in the future!
