人教版九年级上册
语句总览
用来表明主句动作发生的目的——即“做某事是为了什么”。
注：句子省略了主句动作，完整语境为：We explore space to... 。
可放在句首(常需逗号与主句隔开)也可放在句末。
不定式作目的状语时，to 后必须接动词原形，不能接名词、形容词或句子。

【例句】
To pass the exam, he studies hard every day.
为了通过考试，他每天努力学习。
We plant trees to make our city greener.
我们种树，为了让城市更绿。
To learn more about space, we visit the science museum.
为了更多了解太空，我们参观科学博物馆。
“in order to / so as to + 动词原形” 也表目的，它们和“不定式 to do”功能类似，但结构更正式，且有细微位置差异。
in order to可放句首或句末；
so as to一般只放句末。

为了保护环境，我们应该减少浪费。
We should reduce waste so as to protect the environment.
我们应该减少浪费，为了保护环境。
a bit 是程度副词短语，意思是“一点、稍微”，用来修饰形容词或副词的比较级。
用来温和地加强程度，语气比直接用最高级或绝对词(如much, very)更委婉、自然。

主语可以是 “人” 或 “物”；
同义替换：help sb. with sth.(后接 “名词 / 名词短语”)，强调 “在某事上帮助”。

might: 可能性较小，语气更不确定、更委婉(这里表示“虽然这听起来可能性不大，但……”)。
may: 可能性比 might 稍大一点(这里指“或许会发生”)。
