I thought I knew a lot about Hamlet, a play by Shakespeare. Having read 51 play many times and seen several shows, I thought nothing could surprise me anymore 52 I watched a Peking Opera version (京剧版本) of Hamlet called The Revenge of Prince Zidan. It completely blew my mind.
With a history of over 200 years, Peking Opera wins me over with its old and beautiful style. Therefore, I 53 to watch the show. The opera began with Chinese traditional 54 like jinghu. At first, I thought the music was from a violin, but later I learned it was an instrument called jinghu. The clothes and masks the performers wore were 55 amazing that they attracted my attention the second they were on the stage. They sang in Chinese, but thanks to the music and their moves, I could understand the story better. They showed the meanings very 56 and the simple stage turned a small place into a whole world. The performers’ movements were incredible. I never saw Hamlet 57 a backflip (后空翻) before! It was with no doubt one of 58 shows I had ever watched. I could not tell 59 they were performers or athletes.
In short, The Revenge of Prince Zidan is a great combination of music, drama and art. I enjoyed 60 a lot during the show and learned more about the play Hamlet.

My favorite book is The Old Man and the Sea by the American writer Ernest Hemingway.
In my eyes, Ernest Hemingway is probably one of 61 writers in the 20th century. When he was 19, he volunteered 62 to war (战争) because he wanted to take risks. 63 brave man he was! In Hemingway’s life, this experience was important. He has written many books about the war from then on.
Hemingway liked to write very short sentences 64 simple words. This was because he wanted his readers to feel the emotions (情感) of his stories 65 . The Old Man and the Sea is one of 66 famous books.I learned a lot from this book, especially the spirit of the main 67 , Santiago.
The Old Man and the Sea is a story about an old fisherman named Santiago who fights with 68 big fish by himself in the sea. He 69 many ups and downs. But he never gives in to anything.
The story tells us that a man can be destroyed (摧毁) by life, 70 still be a good and strong man. That’s why I like the book most.

【解析】71.句意:所以他们在日常生活中使用刺绣来记录生活。
空后“their daily lives”与上文“no traditional writing forms”形成因果,使用刺绣的目的是记录生活。use sth. to do sth.“使用某物做某事”,应用to record“记录”。record“记录”为原形;records为第三人称单数;recording为动名词,均不符合use sth. to do sth.的固定结构。
72.句意:在它的众多风格中,雷山苗绣非常著名。
空后“many styles”为名词短语,需用形容词性物主代词修饰。its“它的”符合语法功能。it“它”为主格或宾格;itself“它自己”为反身代词;it’s“它是”为it is的缩写,均不能修饰名词。
73.句意:在2006年,它被列为国家级文化遗产。
