Saturday, 15 May Sunny
Dear diary,
I got up early this morning. I went to work in our neighbourhood garden with other kids. Uncle Li taught us how to plant sunflowers. We tried it after that.
I made a cloth bag out of my old green T-shirt in the afternoon. I gave it to my mum. “Wow, it’s beautiful! I really like it!”
“Let’s go green in our daily life!” I said.
“Good idea!” my mum gave me a thumbs-up.
I was tired but happy today.
We tried it after that. Our hands were covered with a lot of dirt but we liked the smell of the earth.
“Good idea!” my mum gave me a thumbs-up. Her smile was as warm
as the morning sunshine.
I gave it to my mum and said, “Look, Mum! My old T-shirt has a new life now!”
