阅读下面三篇材料,从每题所给的A、B、C、D四个选项中选出最佳选项。
A. A Day in the School Radio Room
Last Thursday, our English group visited the school radio room. I thought radio work was easy. You only had to sit in front of a microphone and read. But when we entered the small room, I saw a clock, two computers, many buttons and a thick notebook of scripts. The teacher, Ms Lu, said, “Good radio work needs quiet teamwork.”
First, Ms Lu gave us directions. We had to read slowly, keep our mouths near the microphone, and stop when the red light was on. Then she asked each student to record a short school notice. When it was my turn, I felt nervous and read too fast. My partner Mina pointed to the words “slow down” on my paper. I tried again, and this time my voice sounded much better.
After the activity, Ms Lu played our recordings. Some were too quiet, and some had small mistakes. No one laughed. We listened and wrote down one thing to improve. On the way back to class, I wrote in my diary, “Today I learned that a clear voice comes from careful practice.” It was a short visit, but it became a day to remember.

Long ago, a tired traveller came to a small village. He was hungry, but every family closed its door. The villagers had food, yet they were afraid to share it with a stranger. The traveller did not get angry. He took out a clean stone and put it into a pot of water in the village square.
A child asked, “What are you cooking ” The traveller said, “Stone soup. It is good, but it will taste better with a carrot.” A woman brought a carrot. Then the traveller said it would be even better with some potatoes. An old man brought potatoes. Soon, different villagers brought salt, onions and a little meat. The empty square became warm and noisy.
When the soup was ready, everyone ate together. The villagers were surprised. The soup was delicious, but the stone did not make it delicious. Their sharing did. After dinner, the traveller cleaned the stone and put it back into his bag. The villagers finally understood the lesson: when people share a little, they may get much more together.

C. Two Notebooks
Mr Gu gave each student two thin notebooks. One was blue and one was yellow. “The blue notebook is for real days,” he said. “Write diary entries in it. The yellow notebook is for stories. Retell old stories or make up new ones.” Some students asked why they needed two notebooks. Mr Gu smiled and said, “Because real experiences and stories are different, but both need careful writing.”
In the blue notebook, students wrote about a community garden day, a radio room visit and a rainy sports meeting. They used the simple past tense to show what happened. In the yellow notebook, they wrote about an honest seed, a talking stone and a magic brush. They also used the simple past tense, but they added imagination.
After two weeks, Mr Gu asked the class what the two notebooks had in common. Lily said, “They both need a clear order.” Ben added, “They both need details.” Mr Gu nodded. “A detail is not decoration,” he said. “It helps the reader see, hear or understand something.” For example, “I felt nervous” is clear, but “My hand shook when I held the paper” is stronger.
At the end of the month, the students chose one diary entry and one story to read aloud. They found that writing about real life helped them notice small things, while writing stories helped them understand choices and lessons. The two notebooks were thin, but they made the students' English richer.
