一、形容词与副词的比较等级
（一）原级(基础形式）
1.核心用法
as +原级+ as：和…… 一样（肯定）例：The river is as long as that one.
not as/so +原级+ as：不如……（否定）例：He doesn’t run as fast as his brother.
倍数+ as +原级+ as：是…… 的几倍例：This lake is twice as big as that pool.
2.形容词vs副词
形容词(adj.): 修饰名词/代词,放系动词(be/look/sound/feel)后或名词前
例：a high mountain；The flower looks beautiful.
副词(adv.):修饰动词/形容词/副词,多以- ly结尾（fast/hard等例外）
例：climb steeply；very amazing
（二）比较级（两者比较）
1. 构成规则（必背）
一般单音节词: +er tall→taller；fast→faster
以不发音e结尾: +r nice→nicer；late→later
重读闭音节(辅+元+辅)：双写尾字母+ er big→bigger；hot→hotter；thin→thinner
辅音+ y结尾: 变y为i+er happy→happier；heavy→heavier
多音节(≥3音节)+部分双音节:前加more beautiful→more beautiful；
carefully→more carefully
2. 不规则变化（高频考点）

3. 核心句型
A + be / 实义动词 + 比较级 + than + B：A 比 B……
例：The Yangtze River is longer than the Yellow River.
the + 比较级 + of the two：两者中更…… 的（必加 the）
例：Tom is the taller of the two boys.
比较级 + and + 比较级：越来越……
例：It’s getting hotter and hotter.
The + 比较级，the + 比较级：越……，越……
例：The higher you climb, the better the view is.
less + 原级 + than：不如……（多音节词）
例：The film is less interesting than the book.
（三）最高级（三者及以上比较）
1. 构成规则
一般单音节词：+est tall→tallest；fast→fastest
以不发音e结尾：+st nice→nicest；late→latest
重读闭音节：双写尾字母+ est big→biggest；hot→hottest
辅音+ y结尾：变y为i+est happy→happiest；heavy→heaviest
多音节+部分双音节: 前加most beautiful→most beautiful;carefully→most carefully
2. 核心句型
the + 最高级 + 范围（in/of/among）：在…… 中最……
例：Qomolangma is the highest mountain in the world.
one of + the + 最高级 + 名词复数：最…… 之一
例：The Great Wall is one of the most famous places in China.
Which/Who is the + 最高级，A, B or C ：三者中选择
例：Which is the longest, the Yangtze, the Nile or the Amazon
序数词 + 最高级：第几……
例：The Yellow River is the second longest river in China.
三、单元语法易错点总结
*比较级前加the仅限the+比较级+ of the two结构,
*最高级前必须加the(物主代词/名词所有格修饰除外）
*副词最高级前的the可省略：He runs (the) fastest in our class.
*多音节词比较级/最高级不能加er/est，必须用 more/most
*than 后接代词时,用宾格（me/him/her)或主格+助动词（I do）
