通过本课时的学习，学生能够： 1. 在单元主题图的帮助下，通过跟读食品类词汇、听读韵律诗等活动，对单元主题形成初步感知。 2. 在看、听、读、说的活动中获取故事情节，梳理萨姆煮鱼汤的起因、经过、结果，分析其烹饪失败的原因。 3. 通过分角色表演初步使用单元核心语言，询问他人正在厨房进行的活动，树立厨房安全意识。 4. 以听、读、找、说的方式掌握字母y在happy、my等单词中的两种不同发音。

预习Unit 8 In the kitchen （Lead-in & Cartoon time）的内容。
课上学习任务
【学习任务一】 Listen to Sam’s birthday chant, and learn about the main plot: Sam learns to cook for his father. 【学习任务二】 Students observe the pictures with the help of the unit theme poster, find out that they are in the kitchen and learn.
【学习任务三】
Students learn the food words from the unit map, read the words, and get the plural rules of tomato and potato. 【学习任务四】 Students listen and learn the first two lines of the chant, and master "in the pot" to prepare for the next two lines. 【学习任务五】 Students look and learn the chant, and get better at English by repeating and imitating. 【学习任务六】 Students listen and answer: What is Sam cooking for his dad And learn fish soup. 【学习任务七】 Students read and find: Is the fish soup nice 【学习任务八】 Students order the pictures and know the story better. Check answers to sort out the story. 【学习任务九】 Students ask and talk: How do you feel about the story Know the kitchen safety rules. 【学习任务十】 Students use the sentence to talk about "cooking and being interrupted", and learn kitchen safety. 【学习任务十一】 Students listen and repeat, imitate the sounds and tones, correct pronunciation and read well. 【学习任务十二】 Students learn sounds of letter y with the chant and "Word Cake", and then read words better. 【学习任务十三】 Students talk about Sam’s help in the kitchen, and then share what we can do in the kitchen, and learn to care for others.
