They can live for about 20 years in the wild. Now there are 67 panda reserves in several provinces to protect them, like Shaanxi, Gansu and Sichuan. It was Day 1 of our vacation on Cortes, a beautiful quiet island. “My phone, my phone, my phone…” my son kept saying. In front of him was a big window facing the blue ocean. And a cool wind was coming in from the door. Clearly, he saw and felt none of it.
Back at home, I’d soon give up and hand the phone over to him.
But not here. Before we left, I told my 10-year-old son the rule—no emails, no social media, no video games, and no phone. We came here to get away from them all. Here we were on our first day and already, he couldn’t stand it.
________ I walked down the grass road to the beach and looked out to the sea. My 6-year-old daughter and my husband were drawing on pieces of wood. They were doing just fine.
On Day 2, we spent the whole morning digging for shells (贝壳). This time, my son joined us. He collected shellfish and other sea treasures. When we got back to our little wood house, I gave my son a book, and put him on the lovely garden chair. It was nearly dinner when he looked up.
The next few days passed in peace.
On Day 6, my son was lying beside me on the beach, watching the sun going down. He was playing with the sand. And there was something shining in his eyes. I realized (意识到) how time slowed down for both of us. It was what I wanted. Finally, we could sit quietly without thinking about screens, phone calls and emails.
A week away from all the electronics (电子产品) is wonderful.
31.What is the special rule for the writer’s vacation
A.They couldn’t use their electronics.
B.They must keep quiet and stay in the house.

B.I closed the door and stayed with him.
C.I just walked outside to leave him alone.
D.I gave him his phone and let him stay inside.
33.What can we infer (推断) from the underlined sentence in Paragraph 5
A.The son wanted to look up at the sky.
B.The son was interested in the food there.
C.The son enjoyed reading the book.
D.The son didn’t read for a long time.

第三段“Before we left, I told my 10-year-old son the rule—no emails, no social media, no video games, and no phone.”
32.第四段“I walked down the grass road to the beach and looked out to the sea.”

34.第一段“‘My phone, my phone, my phone…’ my son kept saying.”及第三段“Here we were on our first day and already, he couldn’t stand it.” 说明接下来的几天过得平静,此时是平和的(peaceful);第七段“On Day 6, my son was lying beside me on the beach, watching the sun going down…And there was something shining in his eyes.”

Traveling is one of the most wonderful ways to relax ourselves. With the improvement of living standards, more and more families choose to travel during vacations. Last summer vacation, I went on a three-day trip to a coastal city with my parents. This unforgettable journey left me countless sweet memories and rich life experience.

The fast and steady train made us feel relaxed all the way. After checking into a seaside hotel, we put down our luggage and rushed to the beach immediately. The wide blue sea stretched as far as the eyes could see. White waves rolled gently onto the soft golden sand. Many tourists were swimming, building sand castles and taking photos happily. I took off my shoes and walked barefoot on the beach. Cool seawater touched my feet, bringing away all my tiredness.
On the second day, we visited a famous local museum. Inside the museum, there were plenty of old ship models, ancient seashells and traditional fishing tools. Fresh shrimp, fried fish and seafood soup tasted extremely delicious. Local people were warm and friendly. They introduced interesting local customs to us patiently.
The third day was our shopping and sightseeing day. We walked along the old street, bought handmade gifts for relatives and classmates. Before leaving, we watched the beautiful sunset above the sea. The sky turned orange and red. The whole sea looked warm and peaceful. This trip not only let me enjoy amazing natural scenery and tasty food, but also broadened my horizons.
Now, people take trips by watching videos on Douyin, Bilibili and others. This is called “cloud tourism (云旅游)”.
Zha Liguo, a 44-year-old man, is 66 guide. During the May Day holiday, Zha 67 (take) a group of visitors to Mount Huangshan and enjoyed sunrises there. A lot of people joined him by watching his videos on their phones. It was not Zha’s 68 (one) trip to Mount Huangshan. Last year, he stayed there 69 over 280 days. He showed the beautiful scenery and other interesting things in the villages near the mountain on Douyin.
A lot of people are interested in Zha’s videos, 70 Zha has lots of followers on Douyin. “Many people get 71 (bore) with staying at home but they have no time to go out. I enjoy 72 when I enjoy the fantastic scenery, so I want other people to enjoy it.” Zha said.
Usually, people need to spend much time 73 (go) out for an enjoyable trip. But they often finish their trip quickly. So they can’t really have a good time. The “cloud tourism” helps them a lot. Some people dislike taking a long trip. They think it’s tiring for them 74 (decide) how to go, where to live or what to eat. What’s more, it also makes a 75 (different) to a place’s business. People like to buy things because of the videos.
66.a 67.took 68.first 69.for 70.so 71.bored 72.myself 73.going 74.to decide 75.difference
固定搭配“spend time (in) doing sth”表示“花费时间做某事”,所以此处“go”要用动名词形式“going”。
此处是固定句型“it is +形容词+for sb to do sth”,“it”作形式主语,真正的主语是后面的不定式,所以此处用“to decide”。
固定搭配“make a difference”表示“对……

Because I was doing my homework. I was doing my homework.
77.答句为“My cousin was having dinner with his parents at that time last night.”,是过去进行时,描述昨晚那个时间的动作,结合图片的时钟(7点),问句需要询问昨晚7点堂兄在做什么,因此填What was your cousin doing at 7:00 last night

Traveling is one of the most wonderful ways to relax ourselves. With the improvement of living standards, more and more families choose to travel during vacations. Last summer vacation, I went on a three-day trip to a coastal city with my parents. This unforgettable journey left me countless sweet memories and rich life experience.
We set off early in the morning by high-speed train. It took us nearly four hours to reach the destination. Looking out of the window, green fields, tall trees and small villages passed by quickly.
The guide told us the long history of sea trade and local fishing culture. I learned much knowledge that I could not get from textbooks. In the afternoon, we tasted special local seafood snacks.
