例:like = enjoy,happy = glad,go to school = attend school
What can we know / We can infer that…)
Main idea / Best title)
结合前后句语境,利用转折(but)、因果(so/because)、并列(and)判断词义。
1. 绝对词排除:选项出现 only, never, all, must 大概率错误。

When you want to ask the teacher questions in class, what do you do Do you just shout out your question while your teacher is speaking Or do you put up your hand first and wait
If you politely raise your hand first, you are following the most important class rule. If everyone can talk loudly in a lesson, what will happen ▲ It’s difficult for us to listen to our teacher. It affects our learning in the end. A classroom without rules will be terrible.
When you learn to drive, you’ll study and follow many traffic rules at the start. For example, you can’t drive as fast as you want in any place. You can’t park your car at any place. There are special areas for it. You can’t drive a car if you are under 18 years old.
The rules for driving share a common goal with many rules in your daily life—to keep you safe. If you make a list of the rules around you each day, you will quickly understand their use and importance. They can keep you safe and make you enjoy your life better.

How much exercise do children need to keep in good health Every parent wants to know the answer. In the US, many people think that children should exercise half an hour each day. It is the same in the UK.
A new study shows that children should exercise for their muscles (肌肉) and bones (骨头) more than three times a week. Children can do activities like climbing and playing on monkey bars—this kind of exercise is good for their muscles. Jumping and running are good for their bones. Children should also do aerobic (有氧的) exercise for more than 60 minutes every day. They can walk fast or go running.
However, many children don’t like doing exercise or playing sports outside. Today, many children like playing computer games or watching TV at home every day. What can parents do to help the children do sports outside
Doctor Stephanie Walsh says she often sees parents taking long walks with their children as a kind of exercise, but that might not be the best way. “Although walking is a great activity, it’s really boring for children. So if you’re going to ask your children to go for a walk, think of some fun things to do along the way,” she says. ▲ It’s a good idea to take them outside and let them play with their friends. It was about ten years ago, on a cold gray winter day. I was walking over to visit my dad when it began raining heavily. My clothes got wet, and my face was freezing cold. I knocked on his door and walked into his house. Warm steam (蒸汽) came from the kitchen. It touched my nose, and suddenly, I felt like I was 8 years old again. Dad was making Nana’s special spaghetti sauce
When I was growing up, Nana would make us a big Italian meal every Sunday. She would slowly cook her spaghetti sauce for hours. Then she would drop in potatoes, chicken, meatballs, sausage and sometimes even steak. When it was ready, we would mix it in the spaghetti, fix the plates and put cheese on it. It always made our bellies full, our hearts happy and the house smell delicious. Years later, the memory of those meals still makes my heart full.
I sat down while Dad made me a plate. It felt so good having a meal like we used to when I was a boy. We talked about those old times, and my warm-hearted aunt laughed over the memories, both good and bad. I didn’t feel cold any more.
Dad and Nana have been gone for years now. I still miss them. Although my daughter and I both know how to make Nana’s special sauce, we don’t cook it as often as we could.
