On one hand, we must keep our body healthy. We should have a balanced diet. We'd better play sports at least one hour every day.Exercise makes us stronger and helps us relax. We should get at least eight hours' sleep at night, so that we can have enough energy to study.
On the other hand, we have to be mentally healthy. We should be confident and have a good mood every day. And we should be happy because happiness is important for our health. If you are worried about something, try to solve it as soon as possible.

Qinghai Lake is in the northwest of Qinghai, China. It is the biggest salt lake in China and it is over 4,400 square kilometres in size.The best time to visit Qinghai Lake is from May to August. In May,there are thousands of birds flying around Qinghai Lake. While in July,a lot of wild flowers come out. The sunshine in Qinghai is quite strong,so don't forget to take your hat and sunglasses.

Unit 5: Nature's Temper （糟糕的一天）

Last Friday, I had a really bad day. While I was having breakfast with my younger sister, the sky was getting darker and darker. I heard thunder and saw lightning.
When I left the house, it started to rain heavily. The rain was too heavy for me to see the road clearly. Later, while I was waiting at the bus stop, all of a sudden, the cold wind blew harder, making me feel terribly cold. MMy old umbrella even went wrong because of the strong wind.
At last, the bus came. But because of the rainstorm, there was a lot of traffic. So the bus was moving very slowly. As soon as it stopped at my school, I jumped off and rushed towards the classroom. By the time I got to the classroom, I was wet through and out of breath.
As a result, I was not only late but also felt really bad. It was really a day I never wanted to have again!

As soon as everyone starts eating, you can join in. Thirdly, talk properly for the occasion. Hobbies or travel experiences are good choices. Unless you know the family really well, it's better to avoid private questions. Lastly, Chinese families are really understanding. When you meet the Zhaos, a warm smile and a simple “nihao" will go a long way.

My favourite book is Robinson Crusoe. It was written by Daniel Defoe in 1719.Many people consider it to be one of the greatest adventure classics.
The main character is Robinson Crusoe who loves travelling on the sea. At the start of the story, a storm breaks Robinson' s ship to South Africa. He is forced to live alone on a small island. He feels scared but tries to stay alive as well as possible. He manages to build a house,grow food and keep animals. Later,he saves a man called Friday and teaches him things. Although life is hard, they face all challenges together and help each other. In the end, a ship takes them home.
This book has taught me not to give up or doubt myself. What' s more, it has allowed me to understand that hard work and hope can help us get over any difficulty.I recommend it without doubt-it's great！
Unit 8: Making a Difference（志愿者活动）
介绍上周和同学参加养老院志愿者活动
I'm Li Hua. Last week, my classmates and I volunteered at a nursing home. First, we cleaned the rooms and watered plants. Besides, we chatted with the elderly, sang songs, and even taught them simple exercises. It was a meaningful experience.
Why did we do this I believe helping others is the best way to help ourselves. By caring for the elderly,we learn patience and responsibility. What's more, their smiles made us realize the joy of giving.
In my opinion, volunteering brings a strong feeling of satisfaction. It connects us with people in need and makes our world warmer. Let's continue to spread kindness!
