Yarlung Zangbo Grand Canyon is the deepest and longest canyon in the world. It runs for more than 500 kilometres along the Yarlung Zangbo River. At its deepest point, it is over 5,000 metres deep. If you compare it with the Colorado Grand Canyon in America, the Yarlung Zangbo is both longer and deeper. Because of the special environment, it has more than 3,000 kinds of unusual plants and hundreds of different animals. Many plants and animals only live in this canyon.
