In a quiet corner of Beihai Park in Beijing, something amazing is happening. A series of porcelain (瓷) panels painted with Tibetan thangka (唐卡) art is on display. These artworks are the result of a special collaboration (合作) between artists from Rangtang County in Sichuan and porcelain makers from Jingdezhen, Jiangxi.
The exhibition tells the story of King Gesar, a legendary Tibetan hero. More than 30 generals are painted on the panels, each with different expressions and movements. "Painting thangka art on porcelain is not easy," said one artist. "Traditional thangka is painted on cloth, but porcelain needs high-temperature firing. We spent years trying to get it right."
The finished works keep the detailed lines of thangka while taking on the bright, glass-like quality of porcelain. Visitors are amazed by the beauty of these pieces. "It’s wonderful to see two different art forms come together like this," said a college student visiting the show.
Now in its third year, the exhibition has become an annual meeting point between Rangtang County and Beijing. It shows how traditional culture can be shared with more people in creative new ways.

Have you ever imagined going to school with robots In Henan Province, China, there is a real "robot school" — a training center covering over 10,000 square meters. It trains 149 robots of different types to learn new skills.
At this center, robots learn to do many things humans do in daily life. Some practice walking stairs, while others learn to pick up things carefully. A few special robots are even trained to serve tea and hold simple conversations. Each robot goes through hundreds of tests before it can "graduate."
According to the trainers, the biggest challenge is teaching robots to deal with different situations. "A human can easily catch a ball thrown from different directions, but for a robot, every small change is a new problem to solve," explained one engineer. Scientists let robots practice the same task thousands of times until they can do it well.
China’ s robot industry has developed quickly. Robots are now used in factories, hospitals, hotels and even schools. Some help elderly people with daily tasks, while others work as teaching assistants. Experts believe robots will become an important part of our everyday lives in the near future.
For many young visitors, the center is an eye-opening experience. "I didn’ t know robots could do so many things," said Li Ming, 13. "Maybe one day I can build my own robot!"
