Recently, the world has been excited about a new AI model, DeepSeek-R1. It was developed by DeepSeek, a Chinese business in Hangzhou, Zhejiang Province. The new AI came out on Jan 20. In just one week, it beat OpenAI’s ChatGPT and became the top free app in Apple’s App Store.
The developers said that DeepSeek-R1 is as good at difficult tasks as other big models but needs less computing power (算力). It is also the cheapest of its kind and took only about 5.57 million US dollars (40.58 million yuan) to develop, while US businesses have had to spend much more money building similar AI models.
DeepSeek-R1’s success largely came from its special training method. Traditionally, AI is trained in two ways. One is Chain-of-Thought (CoT). In this way, AI learns to break problems into smaller and simpler steps. The other is Supervised Fine-Tuning (SFT). It works by showing AI lots of problems together with the right answers for it to find a pattern (模式). DeepSeek-R1, however, used Reinforcement Learning (RL) as the key method. In RL, AI learns by trying different things. It gets rewards for correct actions and gets punished for mistakes. For example, in a game, it gets points for picking up rubbish and loses points for breaking a glass. Over time, it works out the best solution (解决方法) all by itself.
In short, DeepSeek-R1 is great. This model shows that China is getting better at AI. DeepSeek-R1 tells us that new ideas can make AI grow, and it will help many parts of our life.
27.How does Paragraph 2 show that DeepSeek-R1 has a low cost
A.By giving an example. B.By listing the number.

29.Which is the structure of the passage (① = Paragraph 1, ② = Paragraph 2 …)

30.What is the passage mainly about
A.The history of DeepSeek-R1. B.The developers of DeepSeek-R1.
C.The work of DeepSeek-R1. D.The introduction to DeepSeek-R1.

In our daily lives, there are many different relationships. In a family, there are parents and relatives. In school, there are teachers and classmates. Sometimes, a little thing may cause relationships between people to get worse. However, if we can put ourselves in others’ shoes, we may better understand their feelings.
Here are some good suggestions. Moods (情绪), feelings and environments are all related (相关的) to good understanding. If a person feels angry, he or she may not want to understand other people.
So learning some useful ways can help us understand each other better. When people are speaking, please listen carefully. This will give them a better experience, and they will be more willing (乐意的) to share something with you.
There are also some people who often think only their ideas are right. No matter what others say, they just refuse to listen. As a result, neither side accepts the other’s ideas.
At any time, when we have different ideas from others, we should think twice before we act, instead of just thinking that we are right. Every small act can build positive relationships and help us have a better understanding of each other.
A.How can we understand others well
B.We should express ourselves openly.
C.That’s how misunderstanding happens.
D.Listening is one of the best ways to understand how others feel.

The weather was very cold that winter. Christmas Day was sunny and bright, so Jo and Laurie went into the garden and made a snowman for Beth. They put flowers and fresh fruit for her in its hands. Jo brought her downstairs to see it and Beth laughed at its funny face. She was much better but she was still very thin and weak. After that, there were presents for everyone.
Later that morning Laurie came back. There was a mysterious smile on his face when he opened the parlor door.
“Here’s another Christmas present for the March family!” he said. Then a tall man walked into the room. It was Mr. March! Suddenly the parlor was full of noise. Meg, Jo, Amy and Beth all ran to their father and hugged and kissed him again and again. Then Mrs. March hugged and kissed him. Everyone was talking at the same time.
It was the happiest Christmas they could remember. Hannah cooked a fat turkey and there was plum pudding and jelly. Everything was delicious.
“It was a difficult year for my little girls. I know.” Mr. March said to them “But you were very brave.”
He took Meg’s hands in his.“Meg, your white hands are now rough and red with hard work. They were pretty before but they are prettier to me now. I’m proud of you.”
Then he looked at Jo. “You were my noisy, wild boy!” he said. “But now I can see a good, strong woman with a tender heart.”
“What about Beth ” asked Amy. “Beth! Dear, good little Beth!” said Mr. March. He looked at her small, thin body and held her tightly.“We nearly lost her. Now I’m going to keep her safe forever.”
Then it was Amy’s turn.“I watched Amy today,” Mr. March said. “She is kinder and more helpful than she was. She thinks more about other people and less about herself. I am proud to have a daughter like her. I’m proud of all my wonderful little women!”

C. D.
30.What is the passage mainly about
A.The history of DeepSeek-R1. B.The developers of DeepSeek-R1.
C.The work of DeepSeek-R1. D.The introduction to DeepSeek-R1.
【答案】27.B 28.D 29.A 30.D

A“How can we understand others well ”符合语境,引出下文的建议。
E“If a person is in a good mood, he or she is more willing to help and understand others.”
33.后文“When people are speaking, please listen carefully.” D“Listening is one of the best ways to understand how others feel.”
34.前文“neither side accepts the other’s ideas.” C“That’s how misunderstanding happens.”
35.本题为开放性试题,第一问需根据文中“When people are speaking, please listen carefully... they will be more willing to share something with you”判断倾听是否有帮助。

How is everything going I’m writing to share with you an unforgettable experience—our school’s charity sale. It was held on the school playground last Friday. All the teachers and students took part in it.
We sold many old things, such as books and toys. Some also made delicious food to sell. The money was raised for sick children in the hospital. Everyone was active and kind.
Through this activity, I understand the importance of spreading kindness. Helping others makes me feel truly happy. I hope you can join such activities too.
Yours,
Li Hua
