Banjo has worked as a therapy dog for almost three years . When people are stressed , it often takes them longer to get better . A therapy dog helps people feel better and be less stressed , often just by being there ! At the hospital , Mum petted Banjo , gave him a snack , and even threw a small ball for him to catch . This made her forget that she was sick , if only for a moment .
