Owls are mysterious birds that are active mainly at night. They have special eyes that let them see clearly in the dark, making them excellent hunters. Most owls eat small animals like mice, rats and insects. This helps control the number of pests, so owls are very important to the ecosystem.
Owls also have unique feathers that allow them to fly silently. This means their prey can't hear them coming. In many cultures, owls are seen as symbols of wisdom, but in some places, people think they bring bad luck. Sea turtles are one of the oldest animals on Earth. They have lived for more than 100 million years. But now, they are in great danger. Many sea turtles are killed by plastic bags, which they mistake for jellyfish. Others lose their nesting beaches because of human development.
Last summer, I joined a volunteer group to protect sea turtles in Florida. We walked along the beach at night to look for nesting turtles. When we found one, we stayed away and watched her lay eggs. We also cleaned the beach, picking up plastic bottles and bags. We learned that even small actions can help save these amazing animals.
After the volunteer work, I started telling my friends about sea turtles. We decided to reduce our use of plastic and organize beach clean-ups every month. I believe that if everyone does a little, we can make a big difference.

My Experience in Nature
Last weekend, I went camping with my family in a forest park. We set up a tent near a small lake. In the morning, I saw a family of ducks swimming on the lake and heard birds singing in the trees. We also picked wild berries and learned to identify different plants from a guide.
This experience taught me how beautiful and important nature is. I realized we must keep forests clean and protect wild animals. Now, I always bring a bag to collect rubbish when I go to nature places.
