Last month, I joined my school’s Environmental Club. I was excited to do something for our blue planet.
On our first day, we went to the city park. We picked up plastic bottles, paper and other rubbish. It took us two hours to clean the park. When we finished, the park looked much cleaner. I felt really happy.
Then we made posters about environmental protection. We put them up in the school and the nearby community. The posters told people to save water, use reusable bags and sort rubbish.
Last week, we gave a talk to the students in Grade 7. We told them about the importance of protecting the earth. Many students said they would start doing small things to help.
I have learned a lot from the club. Small actions can make a big difference. I will keep doing my part to protect our blue planet.
