It may sound like a magic story that plants can actually sense sounds around them.A new study by scientists at MIT found that rice seeds（种子） can "hear"the sound of raindrops and use the information to"decide"when to grow.It's not completely new.Earlier studies have already shown some plants could respond to（反应） the environment.They can sense the sounds when caterpillars eat leaves，and when bees fly past.The new study shows that plants are even smarter than we thought.
