People’s views on whether the space exploration is a waste of time and money vary from person to person. In my opinon, I cannot understand spending all this money on expensive research and experiments when so many people need food.
On the one hand, around the world, millions of people are hungry and dying of starvation. On the other hand, we hear on TV that for as little as a dollar a day, a child in Africa can be saved. Considering the billions spent on space travel, it just seems a better investment to feed the hungry. Finally, there are a lot of unsolved mysteries on the earth. So why are we going into space to explore

Some people say that exploring space is a waste of time and money. I hold the belief that it’s a completely wrong opinion.
As far as I know, exploring space has already made a difference in the fight against world hunger, which has directly resulted in many satellites that now orbit Earth, transmitting data to scientists. Further more, the construction of the space station is a milestone in China’s space industry, which will make pioneering contributions to the peaceful use of space by humanity. More importantly, space exploration can enhancce China's comprehensive national strength, strengthen our international status, and provide citizens with cultural confidence and national pride.
In summary, the advantages of space exploration outweigh the disadvantages.

I can't understand spending all this money on expensive research and experiments when so many people need food.
All in all, we should spend money and time caring for people around the world instead of exploring space.
