根据第二段的“I can’t wait to wear them out of the store.”
根据第三段中的“Just as soon as they left the shoe store, an old man stepped on one of Bob’s new shoes”可知,Bob一离开鞋店就遇到了那位老人,即他是在鞋店外遇到那位老人的,故选B。
根据第六段中Bob的妈妈所说的“You must apologize to the old man.”
根据“When we buy a house, we all want to have nice neighbours, because most of us think that it is helpful to live with some good neighbours.”
根据“... because the good environment can make us comfortable and happy.”
根据“I think we all should learn to be good neighbours, and I also hope everyone will have good neighbours and live a happy life.”

根据“I was coming up from a store... in Australia.”
根据“... it’s not just the receiver who feels good... the person giving praise also gets a sense of pleasure.”
根据“For example, a quick chat with a taxi driver can have more benefits than just offering praise.”可知,和出租车司机闲聊能带来益处;故上文“interactions with strangers can be very valuable”中,“interactions”指和别人的交流,与“communication”意思相近。故选D。

How to Keep a Friendship
For us, friendship is very important. If we have a close friend, we can share happiness and worries, which can make us enjoy a much happier life. Since friendship makes a great difference to us, we need to take it seriously and try our best to keep a friendship. My tips are as follows.
Firstly, we should always keep in touch with our friends by sending e-mails, writing letters or spending some time together regularly. Secondly, we should respect our friends and be honest with them. In addition, good friends are supposed to help each other when in trouble. Just as the old saying goes, “A friend in need is a friend indeed.”
In a word, if we want to keep a friendship, we’d better treat our friends as we want to be treated. And we should treasure friendship.
