A small bakery (面包店) in Yantian District, Shenzhen, reopened on April 14, just four days after it was forced to close. Why Because regular customers and even strangers on the internet helped save it.
Wu, a mother of two, opened Sweet Wheat Bakery last October. She wanted to make healthy bread for her neighbours and also give her brother, a baker (面包师) with over 20 years of experience, a job. She used good ingredients and sold bread at low prices—between 6 and 16 yuan each. “I sell bread that my own children would eat,” she said. But the bakery kept losing money, so on April 10 she had to close it.
When a customer named Liao heard the news, she posted it online, calling the bakery “the best in Yantian.” Her post touched many people. “My child cried when he heard it would close,” Liao wrote. Even the local commerce bureau (商务局) saw the post, they visited Wu and offered help. “We heard that many people would hate to see this bakery close,” they said. They advised Wu to make fewer kinds of bread and take orders to reduce waste.
Thanks to the warmth of strangers on the internet, Wu decided to try again. After reopening, people quickly formed a line outside. The first lot of bread sold out in 20 minutes.
“I almost gave up,” Wu said. “But because so many strangers chose to believe in me, I decided to give it another try. I’m thankful that they helped keep my dream alive.” She smiled and said she would keep baking, believing that kindness could always find its way.

Have you ever felt stressed, worried, or just tired of thinking too much Many young people around the world have found a new and easy way to relax. It’s called ColorWalk (also known as Color Hunting), and it has become very popular on social media like Xiaohongshu, where the ColorWalk topic has already got more than 20 million looks.
So what is ColorWalk The rules are very simple. Before you go out, you just pick one color—for example, blue, green, yellow, or red. Then, as you walk through streets, parks, or even your school campus (校园), you try to notice and collect (in your mind or with photos) everything in that color. That’s all. No special tools, no map, no destination.
Why does such a simple activity help people feel better Experts have an answer. Li Kunmei, a mental health expert, explains that the small task of “looking for a color” starts a part of the brain that controls attention. By choosing where to focus, we stop worrying about the past or the future. We return to the “here and now.” This is like “cleaning your mind”: it gives our tired brain a short rest from endless stress and information.
Different colors also affect our feelings. Soft colors like blue and green make us calm and relaxed. That’s why hospitals often use them. Bright colors like yellow and orange can lift our mood and give us energy. One student used ColorWalk during a stressful exam week. She chose bright yellow and soon saw sunsets (落日余晖), yellow flowers, and warm yellow lights. Her bad mood went away.
If you feel worried or just want to have some fun, why not try ColorWalk Pick a color, go outside, and start your own colorful adventure. You might be surprised by how much better you feel!

The Maritime (海上的) Silk Road was an old sea route (航线). It connected China with many countries in Asia, Africa and Europe.
More than 2,000 years ago, Chinese traders started to sail from places such as Panyu, Xuwen and Hepu (in today’s Guangdong and Guangxi). They went to Southeast Asia and India. From then on, the sea route between the East and the West was connected.
In the Tang dynasty, the sea route grew fast. There was a famous sea route called “Guangzhou Tonghai Yidao”. It was about 14,000 kilometers long. It went through more than 100 countries and areas. At that time, it was the longest sea route in the world. Guangzhou became a busy trading city.
In the Song and Yuan dynasties, China had trade and communication with more than 140 countries and areas. Porcelain became the main product for export, so people also called this the “Maritime Ceramic Road”. Ships also carried silk, tea and spices (香料). The sea trade was very active.
In the Ming dynasty, Zheng He made seven great sea trips to Southeast Asia, India and Africa. But later, the government stopped most sea trade. In the Qing dynasty, only Guangzhou was open to foreign ships. The old sea road slowly became weak.
Today, this old sea road has come back to life. China has started the “21st Century Maritime Silk Road” as part of the Belt and Road Initiative (“一带一路”倡议). Our country thinks this road is very important. It helps countries along the route to trade, share cultures, and build a better future together. The Maritime Silk Road is not only history — it is also a bright bridge for tomorrow.
61.What can we infer (推断) according to Paragraph 3

Labor habits do not come naturally. They are built through repeated practice. When young people take part in daily housework, school cleaning, or community service, they gradually turn hard work into daily habits. 66 Here are some useful ways to develop good labor habits.
★Start small and be regular.
Choose one simple task, such as tidying your desk or watering plants. Do it every day at the same time. 67 After a few weeks, it will become a habit.
★ 68
Only when you spend time and energy on a task do you understand its true cost. If you have cleaned a whole classroom yourself, you will think twice before dropping paper on the floor. Experience is the best teacher.
★Think back on your work.
After finishing a task, take a short time to see the result. A tidy room, a clean kitchen, or a growing plant can give you a sense of achievement. 69
★Respect others’ labor.
Remember that every object around you—from your school desk to your meal—is the result of someone’s hard work. 70 By doing labor yourself, you learn to honor all kinds of work.
In short, labor habits grow from practice, and respect grows from experience.
A.Learn from doing.
B.This helps you connect effort with results.
C.But how can we build these habits step by step
D.Wasting or breaking things shows a shortage of respect.
E.Doing it for just five minutes is better than doing nothing.
