Period 5 Reading for Writing
【设计意图】
本节课是写作课，让学生制作一个个人简介。教材给了两个范例，老师要通过这两个范例让学生熟悉个人简介的写作框架。整个过程，先让学生回忆第一节课作自我介绍时涉及的要点，让学生本节课有预先的认知。阅读时让学生先逐一找出这些要点，然后由点到词，再由到句，写前让学生先激活自己储存的语言点，最后让学生模仿变成自己的句子，再把这些句子组织成篇章。整个课老师主要引导，学生相互检测。最后把教材里的语言点进行归纳。

StepⅠ Pre-reading Activity 1
Ask the class:
How did you introduce yourself on the first day of school What information was included Please list them.
Get the students to list the main point when introducing oneself. Teacher can give the points on the board for reference.

Step Ⅱ Reading and discussing Activity 2
Ask the students to read the student profile and discuss the questions. Answer them in complete sentences.

Reference answers:
Ann is an active girl. Because she loves sports and learn best by doing. Dancing and skating are her hobbies.

It means Thando Gowon studies very hard. He studies anywhere and anytime.
