There are 30 old people living alone in our community. Their children are often away from home because of their work.
Our community organized a “caring for the elderly” activity last weekend and I took part in the activity. I helped an old man cut his hair first. I did the job
carefully and the old man was very pleased with my skill. Then, I helped him do the cleaning. After that, I took an old woman to the supermarket to do some
shopping. We talked happily on the way.
I think the activity is very meaningful. It not only cheers up the old people but also gives me a strong feeling of satisfaction. I’m very glad that I can bring
joy to the old people and make a contribution to our community.
