How do you go to school every day Some junior high school students ride electric bikes. But according to the rule of the Road Traffic Safety Law, people must be at least 16 years old to ride electric bicycles on public roads. Should teenagers under 16 be allowed to do this Recently many people are discussing it online.
Jason, a student I think teenagers under 16 can ride e-bikes. It saves lots of time on the way to school. Walking or taking buses is slow and often crowded. E-bikes make my daily trip easy and convenient. I always ride carefully, wear a helmet (头盔) and strictly follow all traffic rules on the road. Jianguo, a parent I don’t think teenagers under 16 should ride electric bikes. Their physical reaction (反应) ability is not fully developed yet. On busy roads, they cannot deal with sudden dangers properly. When facing different situations on roads, they aren’t calm enough. This will bring hidden dangers to other people on the road.
Ms. Zhang, a teacher I hold the view that kids under 16 shouldn’t ride e-bikes. Teenagers don’t have enough riding experience or skills to deal with sudden dangers. They may speed or run red lights carelessly when playing around. Such risky behavior easily causes traffic accidents and hurts themselves badly. Mr. Wang, a traffic policeman Teenagers under 16 are not allowed to ride e-bikes by law. We have seen many traffic accidents caused by teenagers riding electric bikes. Everyone should learn a lesson from these sad cases. Such behavior brings big risks to road safety. Please follow traffic laws and protect yourselves.
Data from Haidian Court (法院) in Beijing: Among traffic accidents about teenagers and non-motor vehicles (非机动车), electric bike accidents take up 49.02%. More than 1/6 of the accidents happen to teenagers under 16 who ride electric bikes.
In conclusion, there are many things to consider before we decide how to go to school. But safety should always come first. Teenagers must keep traffic rules in mind and put personal safety above everything else.
34. What’s the traffic rule for riding electric bikes on public roads
35. Who agrees that teenagers under 16 can ride electric bikes
36. What’s the same opinion of Jianguo and Ms. Zhang
37. Why does the writer show the data from Haidian Court
38. Open question: Should teens under 16 ride e-bikes Give your reasons.

Work together, win together
No one can achieve great success all by himself. Teamwork is the key to solving hard problems and getting better results. When we pull together, we can make full use of everyone’s strengths and overcome difficulties easily.
Last term, our group needed to finish an English project. At first, we argued about our tasks and made little progress. Later we calmed down and divided work properly: some collected materials, some wrote passages and others designed posters. We discussed and helped each other every day. Finally our project won high praise from the teacher.
This experience teaches me cooperation is very valuable. If we respect each other and offer help, we will gain more progress and happiness together.
