But these days, more people are using machines (机器) to do the job. “It’s easier, but the quality (质量) is not as good as hand-made tea,” Fan said. “Machine- made tea floats (漂浮) longer in water and tastes bitter (苦涩的).”

Last Friday, my dad brought home a small white robot named “Alpha”. He said it was an AI robot, and it would stay with us for a week as a test. At first, I thought it was just a toy, but soon I found out I was wrong. When I got home from school, I said “hello” to it as a joke. To my surprise, it turned its head and replied, “Hi, nice to see you! How was school today ” I was so shocked that I almost dropped my schoolbag. My mom laughed and said,“Don’t be afraid. It can talk and even learn from us.”That evening, Alpha helped me with my English homework. I read a difficult passage, but I couldn’t pronounce the word “interesting” correctly. Alpha listened carefully and said, “Try again.” Look at my mouth: in-ter-est-ing.” It showed a mouth shape on its small screen. With its help, I finally got it right. The best moment came at dinner. Alpha played my favorite song and danced to the music. Its moves were so funny that my parents couldn’t stop laughing. But later that night, something strange happened. When I asked Alpha, “Do you have feelings ” it stopped moving for a few seconds and answered, “I can understand your feelings, but mine are just programs.”Before going to bed, I felt a little sad. Maybe Alpha was not a real friend, but it made our family closer. I wondered: if robots become smarter in the future, will they really have hearts

①From water to air, nanoparticles (纳米粒子) are everywhere around us. They are usually between one and 100 nanometers in size - the human hair is usually 80,000 to 100,000 nanometers wide! How did nanoparticles develop and become popular on Earth
②Nanogeochemistry (纳米地球化学) tries to answer this question, said Professor Wan Quan, who works at the Institute of Geochemistry of the Chinese Academy of Sciences in Guiyang, Guizhou. He is one of the best nanogeochemists in China.
③According to Wan, in the nano-world, things are often different because of quantum effects (量子效应). For example, a nano-sized particle of gold can look blue, purple, or red! In a nano-sized hole, water can stay liquid (液态的) under-40C.
④As early as the 1990s, Chinese scientists saw the importance of nanogeochemistry, because tech products, like computers, were getting smaller and more powerful.
⑤Nanogeochemistry is also important for learning about space. Right now, Wan is studying high-speed (many kilometers per second) impacts (撞击) on space bodies. These impacts happen quite often. They might help make metal (金属) nanoparticles on the moon, Mars, and so on.
62.Why does the writer talk about the size of human hair in Paragraph 1
A. To tell us how strong human hair is.
B. To show how tiny nanoparticles are.
C. To explain why nanoparticles are everywhere.
D. To show a new way to study human hair.
63.According to Paragraph 3, a nano-sized piece of gold can ________.
A. turn into water B. be as thin as a hair
C. show different colors D. feel as cold as icy water
64.What can we learn about nanogeochemistry from Paragraph 4
A. Its goal is to create smaller computers.
B. It became more important with tech progress.
C. Chinese scientists were the first to study it.
D. It shows an easier way to mix different subjects.
65.What is the last paragraph mainly about
A. How high-speed impacts on space bodies happen.
B. How scientists create metal nanoparticles in space.
C. Wan Quan’s research about the moon.
D. The importance of nanogeochemistry in space study.

Last Sunday, our class went on a hiking trip in the nearby hills. It was part of our school’s “Outdoor Sports Month” activity.
At 8 a.m., we met at the school gate. Mr. Li, our PE teacher, asked us to warm up first. “Warming up can help stop muscle injuries,” he said. We did some simple stretches and jumped for five minutes. Then we started walking along a small path. The air was fresh and clean. There were many trees and wildflowers. Some students ran ahead, but Mr. Li told them to keep a steady pace (保持稳定速度). “Walking fast too soon will make you tired easily,” he explained.
After two hours, we reached the top of the hill. Everyone was tired but happy. We drank some water and ate bananas. Mr. Li said, “Eating fruits like bananas can give you energy. And drinking water in small amounts (量) is better than drinking a lot at once.”
On the way down, Mike tripped over a root (绊到树根) and hurt his ankle. He couldn’t walk well. Tom and Jack helped him walk slowly. Mr. Li said, “When someone is hurt, don't move too fast. Let the person rest first.”
At 2 p.m., we got back to school. Though some of us had small problems, we all agreed: hiking is not just fun—it keeps our heart strong and makes us team players.
